My passion for marketing and communications dates back to high school. I always had dreams of working in TV (creating commercials, to be specific). When I landed my first professional job at a major cable company, my dreams started to become a reality. While I wasn’t exactly making commercials, I had the opportunity to write a few radio ads, sports announcements, and a lot of catchy collateral along the way.
After nearly 10 years primarily serving the B2C market, I stumbled upon an opportunity to work at a law firm, where I spent five years focusing on B2B marketing. This combination of experience has allowed me to become a versatile marketer that can strategically create – and execute – a comprehensive and measurable marketing strategy.
My biggest professional achievement has been serving as the lead project manager for a full website redesign. I developed the “vision” for the new site, defined the scope of work, and provided all wireframe and art direction. Once the framework was in place, I got to work writing content, which included more than 75 professional biographies and 25 practice area pages. I also selected and optimized all the site’s photography, and produced a half dozen videos.
Away from my desk, I am an avid traveler and an outdoor enthusiast. I love venturing out to any of the trails in the Cuyahoga Valley National Parks, or jetting off somewhere I can really gain some altitude. A few of my favorite hikes have been Angels Landing in Zion National Park, and Mount Pico in Azores, Portugal. My goal is to one day travel to more countries than my age. At 26 countries to date, I admit I am a little behind, but I assure you I have every intention of catching up soon!
